PJM are the construction industry leaders for innovation and technology. Our use of cutting edge technology, including 3D modelling, LiDAR Scanning and virtual reality, enhances the design experience and installation process for our clients.

Innovating with 3D design technology

Using the latest Autodesk products tailored for the Architectural, Engineering and Construction (AEC) Industry we provide our clients with more than just mechanical construction drawings and models. New virtual reality and augmented reality technologies are starting to have a major impact on the way our projects are designed and installed.

By working in three-dimensional environment, depending on project requirements we coordinate and provide clash detection to ensure the finished product is exactly as modelled and resolve issues prior to site.

Existing site scan technology

We use the latest LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) laser scanning tools to create clear 3D models of existing site conditions. LiDAR scans allow our clients to identify preconstruction risks and provide a reliable base from which project drawings and models can be developed. This has facilitated the use of 3D modelling in any project, from new builds to refurbishments. All projects benefit from the use of 3D modelling.

Project Co-ordination

We take the lead during the pre-construction design phase to minimise disruption for our clients.

Our design team will liaise with all stake holders including site personnel, client’s and their deign teams to ensure the production of accurate, coordinated construction drawings and models.

Our staff are trained in the latest innovative project management technologies and processes, including Navisworks and Revizto, to assess real time project status and issue clash detection reporting. These reports inform our co-ordination meetings which are held in house and/or offsite to ensure any buildability issues are swiftly resolved prior to site.
